Domestic Violence walk, Brisbane - Twilight Walk & Candle-Li
Twilight Walk & Candle-Lighting Ceremony
Encourage your team to be part of the walk from the CBD to the Kangaroo Point Cliffs to honour those who have died due to domestic violence, and those left behind.
Wednesday, May 2nd at 4pm to 6:30pm
Your business and your people can make a difference and help raise awareness of the silent epidemic that affects one in three women in Australia - two thirds are employed. It makes great business sense to join us for the inaugural Twilight Walk to the annual candle-lighting ceremony which marks the beginning of Domestic Violence month in Queensland. The more of us who Act as 1, the more powerful the message that violence is not tolerated - at home OR at work.
Wear black and carry a red rose as a sign of respect and remembrance.
